mourner This is a great take on black metal. Redused and focused and therefor very intense. Very compareable to Urfaust because of the vocal style and the atmosphere, yet it's different enough - for my taste Bacchus are even better. I'm excited for II. Favorite track: I. I.

Trveheimer some said this was "just" an Urfaust Worship but while this is indeed reminiscent and surely openly inspired, there was enough own Character added to not be a Copycat; its a more melodic Take with a better production.

gaiebel Metal that feels like Doom filled Black Metal. The Faustian tinge to it is nice. The Vocals are nice and sound like Hammerheart era Quorthon. Also, that cover art is awesome. Favorite track: I. IV.

nudelnase Get a beverage of your liking, lay back and let this wave of impending doom roll over you. I definitley recommend listening to the whole album as one experience. Favourite track: All of them.

There's a certain mood, an oddly specific aspect of existential misery triggered in me when listening to this - especially Von Alcoholische Verbittering Naar Religieuze Cult and its follow-up tracks. It's almost like spectating myself being overwhelmed by my demons: an ego death; a vicious, delirious frenzy induced by e.g. Salvia Divinorum, fighting over the control of my fleshly vessel, torn apart from within. I live for tracks like this, thrive in the 'visions'... absolute god-tier ambience. David Fischer
